Whether managing small projects or large multimillion-dollar contracts, your attention to detail, planning skills, and technical understanding will determine success. You will oversee projects from planning through execution to closeout, delivering efficient, coordinated, and high-performing mechanical installations.Key ResponsibilitiesProject PlanningReview and understand the full set of building drawings and documentsAnalyze mechanical systems, specifications, and project scopeReview contractual obligations and estimatesResearch and understand all mechanical equipment and distribution systemsProject Setup & ExecutionSelect equipment and subcontractorsObtain, review, and submit submittals/cut sheets for complianceCoordinate equipment and systems with building architecture and structureUtilize tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Autodesk MEP, and NavisworksCollaborate with General Contractors and MEP subcontractorsEnsure proper equipment clearances for service and operational needsUnderstand temperature control system requirements and sequence of operationsIdentify and resolve design or installation issues earlyAnalyze construction schedules to meet critical path deadlinesCreate Schedule of Values and ensure accurate billingPlan and schedule required tools, equipment, and manpowerProject Installation ManagementPresent plans, drawings, and submittals to installation teamsTrack and analyze progress and performanceLead meetings with the construction team, ensuring deadlines are metManage manpower, priorities, logistics, equipment, and materialsMaintain communication with foremen and installersEnforce safety plans and company standardsPrepare and communicate monthly billingsSchedule subcontractors, controls, and equipment start-upEnsure high-quality performance and installation standardsProject CloseoutAssemble Operation & Maintenance ManualsMeet all specification closeout requirementsCommission equipment and controls with proper documentationProvide accurate as-built drawingsEnsure final customer satisfactionConduct project analysis and lessons learned reviewQualificationsExperience in mechanical or HVAC project management (commercial/industrial preferred)Strong understanding of construction drawings and mechanical systemsProficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, or Autodesk toolsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractorsProblem-solving mindset with customer-focused approachWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesBenefits package (health, dental, retirement plan, etc.)Opportunities for growth and advancementSupportive team environment with strong project collaborationPre-hire requirements include a drug test and a background check.
