Duties Prepare and serve a variety of food items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and payment handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, dining spaces, and behind the counter Assist with food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming environment Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality Engage in food industry best practices related to serving in quick service or fast-food restaurant settings Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues across kitchen and front-of-house roles Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail setting is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or stocking supplies Join us as a Vendor and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
