Maintenance Tech: CNC, Doosan, Salvagnini
Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced manufacturing and CNC equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining high-performance machinery, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe and efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with Salvagnini systems, Torit dust collection systems, CNC lathes, and Doosan and Haas machines, along with a solid background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptimeDiagnose and repair issues on CNC equipment, including:Doosan and Haas machinesCNC lathes and machining centersMaintain and troubleshoot Salvagnini sheet metal fabrication equipment (panel benders, laser systems, automation equipment)Service and maintain Torit dust collection systems, including filter replacement, airflow troubleshooting, and system inspectionsAnalyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutionsPerform electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and working with PLC-controlled equipmentMaintain hydraulic and pneumatic systemsSupport installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipmentEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesKeep accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentationCollaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred)5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or machining environmentProven experience with:Salvagnini equipmentDoosan and Haas CNC machinesCNC lathes and machining centersTorit dust collection systemsStrong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret:Electrical schematicsMechanical drawingsTechnical manualsExperience with PLC troubleshooting (preferred)Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities Preferred QualificationsTechnical certification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related fieldExperience in metal fabrication or precision machining environmentsFamiliarity with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS)Welding or fabrication skills (a plus) Work Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing/industrial environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and moving partsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveRetirement planVision insurance Work Location: In person
