Machine Operator

Our customer is a provider of engineered solutions for specialty components and subassemblies, utilizing advanced materials for high reliability, challenging environments, and technically demanding applications. Location: Chatsworth, CA Schedule: Monday thru Friday 9:30am to 6:00pm, plus overtime Status: 3 months or longer Pay Range: $21 to $22 an hour Dress Code: Casual and must have steel boots for safety purposes This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law. Job Overview As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties - Operate and monitor machines during the production process - Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments - Program machines for specific tasks - Assemble finished products - Utilize SolidWorks software for machine operations - Package finished products for distribution - Understand and work with logic controllers - Read and interpret blueprints accurately - Use calipers to measure dimensions accurately Requirements - Prior experience in machining or related field is preferred - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments - Ability to program and operate machinery effectively - Strong mechanical aptitude for assembling products - Knowledge of SolidWorks software is a plus - Familiarity with logic controllers and Fanuc systems is beneficial - Capability to read and interpret blueprints accurately Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Ability to Commute: Chatsworth, CA (Required) Work Location: In person
