Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist. Must staff majority of time in a hazardous compounding role.EducationRequired: Annual sterile compounding competency CE completed through current sterile compounding competency program.Required: Annual hazardous drug compounding competency CE completed through current sterile compounding competency within 90 days of hire.Preferred: High School Diploma or EquivalentExperienceRequired: 1-2 years related experienceSkillsGood verbal and written communication skillsAble to work independently and collaboratively in teamsProficient in using computers and computer systems such as excel, word, and power pointLicensure/Certification/RegistrationRequired: Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician through a nationally accredited Pharmacy organization.Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application in process upon hire and obtained within 90 days of hire
