DPP is seeking an Assembler for an opportunity with our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.Work location : Onsite in Huntsville, ALWork shift : 4/10 (Mon. – Thurs.)Duration : 3 monthsTerms : W2 positionWork authorization : US CitizenPosition summary:The Assembler will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.Work from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.Responsibilities:Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.May conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications. Diploma/GEDIPC J-STD-001 Certification1-3 years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components is needed.1-3 years in a manufacturing settingAbility to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.Preferred qualifications:5+ years in a manufacturing setting5+ years of experience in hand soldering, including inspection, rework/repair, various soldering tools, and equipment.Ability to understand and interpret technical documents.MES software experienceMicrosoft365 experienceClient insight: Worldwide and across disciplines, we're challenging what's possible for technology to protect people and places from undersea to outer space and into cyberspace.Interested?
