To us, the most important measure of our success is yours.The Impact You Will HaveExecutive in-charge of field operations in Zone, working closely with Zonal Underwriting, middle market underwriting, client development and national line of business leaders to formulate and execute key account and broker distribution strategies within the Zone. Coordinates resources among business developers, underwriters & claims with Global, International brokers and clients to execute on global, national and local strategies. Agility to generate new, profitable business, across the spectrum of Allianz Commercial's target business segments, from Commodity to Complex, and across all lines of business. Also work across classes of broker partners, including both Global and Sapphires, to optimize Allianz Commercial "share of wallet" by cross- and up-selling while at the same time maximizing the "contribution margin/profitability". Different skillset for selling will be required as our business model moves to incorporate "Digital by Default".Some of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include:Identify key and growth accounts, build and implement Strategic Account PlansAct as lead broker engagement representative in zone, as well as primary interface between and among Zone Exec, LoBs, Claims and MMDevelop balanced pipeline with target accounts / submissions to fulfill financial targets and desired business mix for the next 2 yearLead engagement with other Allianz OEs to promote "One Allianz" approach to clients and brokersAct as Thought Leader and Influencer to Executive Management, peers and DCBM colleaguesAct as daily challenger and chief execution point to Zone Exec for local strategies;Engage and coordinate with Marketing to tailor specific Zone requirements for market presence and brand awarenessWork with Zone Execs, LoBs, Claims and ARC to develop and deliver appropriate training in line with MM Vision of Spearheading Sales CultureDeliver and reinforce #findaway culture rallying point as directed by Senior MM Leadership and N.A. EMTCommunicate wins across the organization regionally and globally with a consistent process andActively assist in career development of more junior colleagues both in MM and across other functionsBuild and maintain relationships, and generate trust and credibility, with key people who impact the buying decisionAct as first port of call, solution provider and trusted advisor for key and growth accountsInitiate remedial action where necessary, e.g. large claims, IISEnsure client database (Salesforce.com) SFDC is fully populated and kept current at all times with relevant client strategies and client information for the entire ZoneDevelop and grow relationships with Allianz Commercial key brokers at appropriate levelsFacilitate brokers' understanding of Allianz Commercial underwriting appetites and capabilities, as well as those of other Allianz OEsDrive change and behavior across functions to deliver coordinated and seamless solutions to clients and brokersLead industry teams across LoBs in identifying prospects and key industry issues to ensure Allianz Commercial offering meets or exceeds client needsEngage regularly across functions, including Claims and ARC to build relationships and teams both for specific deal opportunities and to increase Zone team dynamicWhat You'll Bring to the Role:7-10 years experience in proven track record in Underwriting or Development role in industrial / specialty insurance business and successful track record of prospecting new clients in industrial / specialty insurance segment7-10 years experience in fostering long term, profitable relationships at senior level in broker and client organisations5-7 years experience of working in international organization, and overseas assignment or equivalent exposure to international insurance programs3-5 year experience in leadership role and influencing others without authorityBachelor's degree preferred, in e.g., Economics, Business Administration, LawProfessional qualification preferred, e.g. ACII (or equivalent) or progress towardsExperience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is preferredExternal applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time, nor can we guarantee future sponsorship.The annualized base pay range for this role is $180,000 $270,000. The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
