Are you an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) ready to take the next step in your career? Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a full-time Program Lead in The Dalles to provide hands-on support while helping lead the day-to-day operations of a residential program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

What Does a Program Lead Do?
As a Program Lead, you'll continue providing direct support while helping ensure the success of the home.
Responsibilities include:
Building meaningful, person-centered relationships that promote independence, dignity, and choice
Assisting individuals with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and hygiene
Supporting community outings, appointments, recreation, employment, and personal goals
Encouraging independence, confidence, and skill development
Administering medications and completing documentation accurately
Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
Serving as a mentor and positive role model for Direct Support Professionals
Advocating for the choices, rights, and well-being of the people you support

Qualifications
Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or in a Direct Support Professional role required
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to become an approved company driver
Ability to pass a national background check
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals with mobility needs
