Vigilnet - Part-Time Electronic Monitoring Technician

About Vigilnet America Vigilnet America is a leading provider of alternative sentencing and electronic monitoring services for the corrections industry. Since 2006, we have partnered with courts, probation/parole departments, and government agencies to implement effective offender management programs. We currently serve more than 40 agencies nationwide and have monitored over 25,000 participants. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Electronic Monitoring Technician to support our Operations Department. This role is best suited for someone hands-on, organized, and comfortable working directly with participants and monitoring equipment. Position Details Workdays will typically fall between Monday–Thursday, based on scheduling needs set by Vigilnet. Candidates must be able to pass background and DMV checks. Maximum amount of hours per week 15. Primary Responsibilities Install electronic monitoring equipment on participants Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Remove monitoring equipment when assignments are completed Clean, sanitize, and prepare equipment for reuse Provide professional customer service during participant interactions Complete accurate data entry and documentation Track and manage equipment inventory Handle occasional errands (FedEx drop-offs) Qualifications Experience in Criminal Justice or Electronic Monitoring preferred but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable with hands-on technical tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Reliable transportation required Valid driver’s license required Equal Opportunity Statement Vigilnet America is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
