RN, Part-Time

Position: RN Shift: 2nd Shift, 8 hours per week (Every other weekend- rotating Saturday then Sunday) Pay: Starting at $40 dollars per hour base, pay increases based on years of licensure. The RN is responsible for administering high quality, accurate, and person-centered nursing care to all assigned residents on his/her shift. Tasks may include the accurate and timely administration of medications and treatments, observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes. Essential Job Duties Assists in the supervision and direct care of residents and nursing personnel. Administers direct care as assigned. Gives and receives reports. Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition. Assists in developing comprehensive care plans Qualifications Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut is required. Current CPR and IV certifications are required. Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing is required.
