Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university; Master’s degree preferred Minimum 3 years of professional experience in circuit design engineering or a related discipline Demonstrated experience with circuit card design, integration, and test for one or more of the following: digital electronics, power electronics, analog/mixed-signal Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture Experience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis Experience with signal integrity tools such as Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx or equivalent Experience with developing and refining system, performance, interface, and environmental requirements for circuit card designs Must be a US Citizen; must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearanceJob DescriptionYou will be the Senior Circuit Design Engineer for the Non Kinetic Air Defense (NKAD) & Counter Swarm team. Our team designs, prototypes, tests, and rapidly fields advanced electronic solutions that protect U.S. and allied forces. We turn high risk concepts into flight ready hardware on accelerated schedules.What You Will Be DoingAs the Senior Circuit Design Engineer you will be responsible for leading end to end circuit card development—from early architecture through production release—while collaborating with system, software, test, and manufacturing partners. You will help shape the technical direction of multiple defense programs and ensure that every design meets strict SWaP C, performance, and reliability requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Defining subsystem requirements, conducting trade studies, and establishing architecture for platform and sensor electronics. Driving schematic capture, EPCAD layout, and signal integrity analysis for circuit card assemblies in constrained environments. Owning the full design lifecycle: concept, simulation, layout, build up, verification, and delivery of all Design Assurance Review artifacts. Performing circuit simulations, power budgeting, and signal integrity checks using Cadence PSpice, HyperLynx, or equivalent tools. Specifying, sourcing, and managing bill of materials and prototype build activities. Coordinating environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, radiation) and interpreting results to guide design refinements. Generating and maintaining clear technical documentation—architecture diagrams, requirements packages, trade study reports, and test data logs.
