Engineering ManagerGlobal metals processing manufacturer is searching for an Engineering Manager to assist an expansion.Our client is a big believer of offering stability, the chance for expansive responsibilities and growth. This role is open due to retirement.Responsibilities:Supervise, manage, coach, schedule and develop a team of engineersProvide leadership and direction to the engineering team with additional hands-on responsibility for the completion of assigned engineering projectsResponsible for managing technical and manufacturing engineering duties to improve plant manufacturing performance, reduce costs, improve methods, and assist in machine maintenance and reliability.Responsible for project, process improvements, validations, new product development and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operationsProvide technical support for efficient troubleshooting/problem solving activities and upkeep to maximize efficiencies and limit downtimeManage and plan budgetary guidelinesRequirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical or Industrial Management) is requiredMBA or Masters is a plus7-10+ years Engineering experience in a metals fabrication manufacturing environment is required.
