The Therapy Technician and Patient Service Representative position is a blended role to serve both therapy patients and the therapy team by providing aspects of therapeutic healthcare services to patients as well as assist with clinical responsibilities.This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) temporary position, working the below schedule out of our Training HAUS Eagan location. Schedule will fluctuate with the PT patient schedule.Mon - Fri: 10:00am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-6:30pmSat: 7:00am-1:00pmTwin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential FunctionsAssist in non-billable patient services by bringing appropriate patients back and initiating pre-therapy exercisesWith specific instruction and supervision by Therapist, guide patients through specific education/intervention provided by therapistAccurately and efficiently schedule new and existing patients in the current practice management systemVerify and document insurance information as defined by current business practicesChart managementMaintain timely communication with patients and families while in clinicMaintain clinician schedulesMay assist with coordinating schedules for the Volunteer Intern program, train and orient incoming InternsClean and stock exam rooms, gym, equipment, and therapy spaceMaintain patient education materialsAble to correctly lift and set up various weights in fitness, sports performance, and training aspects for clientsAssist with Sports Performance and other Training HAUS ancillary services and their daily needsAssist with check-in for individual and group fitness classesCoordinate routine inspection/maintenance of equipment repair as neededAssist with patient transport within the clinicPosition may include additional site-specific responsibilitiesAny and all other duties as assignedEducation And Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma/GED or equivalentPreference given to those who are currently or will be applying to Physical or Occupational Therapy graduate school, or pursuing a Masters in Athletic Training100 hours of related experienceCustomer service experience requiredBenefits & Compensation:  Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package - to learn more click here.Employees working 30+ hours per week (60 hours per pay period) are eligible for our Medical (w/Maternity Bundle), Dental & Vision plans, as well as Tuition Reimbursement.All employees, regardless of hours, are eligible for 401(k) w/ Profit Sharing, Employee Assistance Program, Lifetime Fitness Subsidy, Car Rental discounts, Home, Auto, & Pet insurance savings programs & more.Working ConditionsFrequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).SettingClinicEssential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.) Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance. Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively.Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions.
