Iowa Select Farms is looking for a Nutrients Compliance & GIS Coordinator to join our team in Iowa Falls, Iowa! This role is crucial in overseeing our GIS program, coordinating soil and manure sampling, and ensuring regulatory compliance for nutrient management across all Iowa Select Farms facilities. You will work closely with field staff, landowners, and custom applicators to maintain accurate digital records, distribute vital mapping information, and provide comprehensive data to support nutrient application strategies. This is a dynamic role that blends agriculture, data management, and regulatory compliance, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on sustainable farming practices.We’re looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, GIS, Agronomy, or a related field, or equivalent experience in nutrient management and manure application. Proficiency in GIS technology, data management systems, and Microsoft Office is essential. Accuracy and efficiency are critical components of this role as well as collaboration across the nutrient management team. Experience with Iowa P-index and RUSLE2 is a plus.
