Our designs nurture curiosity and empower communities to thrive.Key Responsibilities:Collaborates with team members, engineers and other consultants for coordination of workUtilizes space planning, 3D visualization, knowledge of materials and common building practices to create a design and carry it through to completionDelivers design intent, verbally, graphically and in writing to the internal design team as well clients, consultants and contractorsContributes to the production of design documents and detailed development of construction documents during all project phasesReviews shop drawings, material submittals and conducts periodic site visits during constructionPerforms layout and assembly of material boardsAssembles furniture presentations, specification packages, interior design and finish presentationsQualifications:Bachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design3-10 years of interior design experience on Educational projects preferredExcellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and graphic communication skillsExcellent knowledge of design software such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion or EnscapePossesses general knowledge of building codes and ADA guidelines as they relate to life safety and space planningTeam player with a collaborative mindsetInterest in PK-12 Educational InteriorsAbout Our CultureWe believe there's power in purpose.
