Senior Software Engineer

Job DutiesHelp clients improve business systems using the Atlassian suite by helping them migrate from 3rd party tools to Atlassian applications using best practices and recommendationsWork with clients in planning for Atlassian migrations, implementing the Atlassian migrations, and troubleshooting post-Atlassian implementation issuesAssess the clients current systems by gathering client requirements and assessing the current applications usageResearch possible migration paths and make proposals to clients for migrationsConsult on, develop and implement infrastructure for new products deployments where it is required for the projectCollaborate with a Systems Architect on application and data configurationsDevelop custom tools and scripts to facilitate data migration processesConsolidate Atlassian applications/environments. Configure Atlassian Access as well as external authentication platforms such as Azure, AD, LDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace and otherResearch migration solutions from non-Atlassian platforms as Rally, Zendesk, ServiceNow and othersExecute test and production migrations and make necessary process adjustmentsTroubleshoot issues that arise during implementationDuring implementation and post-implementation, lead transformation workshops and new platform trainingsProvide post-implementation support by resolving issues that ariseProvide support to clients' end-users by conducting assessments and implementing solutionsConduct an ongoing analysis of the new post-migration environment and compile a report on problems and their possible solutionsProvide administrative support to clients by working with project stakeholders to support their day-to-day operationsProvide consultation on application functionalities and possible improvementsExecute application and platform configuration changes on client requestsOccasional travel of up to 40% to client locations throughout the U.S.Special SkillsPosition requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field and five (5) years of experienceThe aforementioned five (5) years of experience must be progressively responsibleRequires five (5) years of experience in: Atlassian Cloud, Azure, AWS, Groovy, Python, SQL.
