Construction Office Assistant

Job Description We are a small architectural design and specialty trade contracting firm located in Brooklyn. We are seeking a well-rounded office assistant with experience in the construction or architecture fields and an ability to adapt to many tasks. The ideal candidate for this position would be a highly organized, energetic, skilled communicator. The executive office assistant would work directly with ownership.Commercial construction in NYC places a high demand on organized bookkeeping, project cost tracking, insurance compliance, bank requisitions, HR documentation, OSHA logs, just to name a few. While the full scope of all of these tasks will certainly not be the responsibility of this role, the administrative and organizational components of tracking and reporting on these tasks, and communicating with outside accountants, bookkeepers etc. would be. A willingness and positive attitude to work on any task the team needs is essential.Strong skill sets in MS Office and the Adobe suite, professional correspondence, scheduling, and flexibility would all be mandatory.
