Production Prep Operator

DescriptionThe Kooks production team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled operator to join our fast paced team. The Production Prep Operator will be responsible for cutting, trimming and end forming of parts, operating machinery and equipment and ensuring quality standards are met. A successful candidate in this role will help create a workplace that is safe, clean, environmentally friendly, employee friendly, highly productive, efficient and of sufficient capacity to support the forecasted demand.Measuring, marking and trimming parts per work instruction/fixtureOperating and managing machinery and heavy equipmentCutting Tubing using bandsawsFollowing instructions from supervisors and implementing plansMaintaining all safety standardsEnsuring that the work area is clean, safe, organized, and well maintainedOther duties as necessary RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent1 year experience with measuring, cutting and forming tubing or similar roleExperience with PROTO-1 machinery (deburring), expansion and reduction machinery, SOCO facing machine, and drill press is a plusMay require lifting, pulling, and carrying up to fifty (50) poundsFrequent bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, and reaching overheadStanding for extended periods of time, up to 9 hours per dayAbility to work independently under general supervision; reports to supervisorDetail oriented with large emphasis on qualityDisclaimersKooks Custom Headers reserves the right to revise, change or modify the duties and responsibilities of this position at any time to meet business needs, with or without notice.
