Software Test Engineer

About this roleAs an SDET at LMK Infotech you will partner with developers and QA teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests across multiple layers of the stack. Your work will directly impact release velocity and product reliability while you stay current on emerging testing tools and best practices.What you'll doDesign, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testingWrite and run automated test scripts using Java and GroovyPerform RESTful API testing and validate responses with Postman or RestAssuredCreate and execute SQL queries for data validation in database testsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and JenkinsAnalyze test results, log defects, and collaborate on timely resolutionsContinuously research and recommend new automation tools and practicesWhat we're looking forStrong programming skills in Java and GroovyHands‑on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit or equivalent frameworksProficiency in REST API testing using Postman or RestAssuredSolid SQL knowledge for database validationDeep understanding of software testing principles and methodologiesExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Git, MavenFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development processesExcellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skillsBonus pointsAWS experience and familiarity with cloud-based testing environmentsKnowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or GatlingExperience with containerization (Docker) for test environments
