This role partners closely with Finance, FP&A, and IT leadership to translate business strategy into scalable, global Oracle EPM capabilities aligned to enterprise architecture and long‑term roadmaps.As the Oracle EPM principal, this role sets functional design standards, leads complex initiatives, mentors other analysts, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Requirements LeadershipPartner with Finance, FP&A, and IT stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into clear, actionable functional requirementsDistill executive‑level objectives into structured discovery plans and guide teams through effective requirements gatheringServe as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders by proactively identifying risks, tradeoffs, and downstream impactsClearly communicate solution intent, progress, and realized business valueFunctional & Solution DesignLead functional and solution design for complex, cross‑functional Oracle EPM initiativesDevelop and maintain functional design standards, patterns, and methodologies across the EPM portfolioEnsure all designs align with enterprise architecture principles and long‑term business and technology roadmapsReview and advise on designs produced by peers or partners to ensure quality, scalability, and sustainabilityStay current on Oracle EPM capabilities, product roadmap, and industry best practicesArchitecture & IntegrationContribute to application and integration architecture across Oracle EPM and adjacent systemsDesign security, metadata, workflow, and approval structures that support global planning and reporting needsEstablish configuration and governance standards to drive consistency, performance, and speed to deliveryDelivery, Testing & Release ManagementDefine and drive test strategy and execution to ensure appropriate cross‑functional coverageLead defect triage, root‑cause analysis, and resolution best practicesManage scope, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives running in parallelStructure large initiatives into phased, value‑based releases to accelerate business benefitProduction Support & Continuous ImprovementPartner with support teams to monitor functional support metrics and trendsDrive root‑cause resolution for recurring issues and identify opportunities for system optimizationContinuously assess and improve performance, usability, and automation across EPM applicationsChange Management & AdoptionCollaborate with business partners to drive adoption and effective use of Oracle EPM solutionsAssess adoption rates and business case realization; recommend adjustments to improve outcomesVendor & Technology LeadershipLead and manage external consultants and system integrators for Oracle EPM initiativesParticipate in vendor advisory boards and industry user groupsPartner with Procurement, Legal, and leadership on vendor evaluations, SOWs, and contract negotiationsLead large‑scale technology evaluations and support executive decision‑making through clear recommendationsMentorship & StandardsMentor and guide other Business Systems AnalystsEstablish and reinforce best practices, design standards, and delivery methodologies across the EPM portfolioQualificationsRequiredHands‑on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, specifically EPBCS / PBCSHands‑on expertise in at least one additional Oracle EPM module (e.g., PCMCS, EDM, Narrative Reporting)Strong experience with Smart View, Calculation Manager, and Data ManagementProficiency with EPM Automate, REST APIs, Groovy Scripting, and integration/automation techniquesSolid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting processesProven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives as a senior individual contributorExcellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skillsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related fieldPreferredExperience designing enterprise‑scale Oracle EPM architecturesExperience mentoring junior analysts or serving as a solution design authorityExposure to cloud‑based or hybrid integration architecturesThe targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / AnnualOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
