Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.ResponsibilitiesPackaging OperatorStarting rate: $24.45 per hourThe Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. Team members will work:C Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00am-6:00pmShift premium: $1.00 per hourResponsibilitiesIn the Packaging Operator role, you will:Operate and maintain packaging equipment to optimize efficiency and to reduce/eliminate downtimePerform reliability tests on equipment such as metal detectors and scales for food safety and quality assurancePerform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safetyQualificationsPossess a high school diploma or a GEDAbility to comply with a strict attendance policyDesire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility and willingness to communicate with cross functional teamsExperience in food manufacturing preferred
