IT Technical Contract Lead

We are a rapidly growing organization seeking an experienced IT Technical Contract Lead to serve as a senior technical authority to lead complex IT operations, provide oversight across enterprise IT systems and operations, and ensure the successful delivery of enterprise infrastructure in support of critical mission objectives in Arlington, VA. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical authority for all IT services under the contract. Provide strategic guidance to Program Management, staff, and Government Leadership. Lead the design, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise IT infrastructure (physical and virtual). Direct response and resolution for major IT incidents and operational issues. Oversee ITSM processes and tools (e.g., Remedy) for service delivery. Manage core infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and DFS. Ensure performance, security, and compliance across Windows and Unix/Linux environments. Provide technical leadership, tasking, and mentorship to engineering and support teams. Minimum Qualifications: Experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure operations and technical teams Strong background in server architecture, deployment, and sustainment (physical/virtual) Experience managing major IT incidents and using ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy) Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and DFS Experience with Windows Server (2012+) and Unix/Linux systems Broad knowledge across infrastructure domains (networks, SAN, security, and systems) Demonstrated troubleshooting, engineering, and technical leadership skills Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Telecommunications, Management Information Systems, or related field, OR Minimum of 7 years of recent, relevant hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship Active Secret Clearance Work Environment: 100% onsite at government facility.
