This role supports operations by providing expert troubleshooting, maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering high-quality repair work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of construction and municipal heavy equipmentRepair and service diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systemsConduct reconditioning of equipment and related componentsProvide on-site service and technical support to customersMaintain strong customer relationships through communication and service excellenceStay current on industry trends, equipment updates, and factory trainingComplete all service documentation accurately and timelyEnsure a professional image in appearance, communication, and when operating a company vehicleContribute to team goals and support various service-related tasksRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical school or industry training strongly preferredMinimum 2+ years of full-time heavy equipment repair experience (not a maintenance role)Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsValid driver's license with clean driving recordCDL preferred but not requiredMust supply personal hand tools to perform required repairsAbility to complete a pre-hire mechanical aptitude testStrong communication and customer service skillsBenefitsComprehensive health insurance (PPO) with prescription coverageDental and vision coverageFlexible spending account options401(k) with up to 4% employer match + 2% annual profit-sharingPaid time off + 8 paid holidaysCompany-paid life insuranceOngoing factory training and professional development
