Prior Maintenance Experience in a Manufacturing facility is required.Recent Trade School graduates or top performers may be considered for this challenging role.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFTJob Title: SKILLED MULTICRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANDepartment: MAINTENANCEReports to: MAINTENANCE MANAGERJob SummaryMaintains dependable operations of production and quality systems by ensuring safe and efficient function of all machinery and mechanical equipment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesMust have electrical and mechanical abilities Perform troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.Perform troubleshooting of complex control systems.Perform preventive maintenance as required on specified production machinery.Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Maintain parts, tools, and supplies inventory by following established programs within the department.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations.Reliable attendance and punctualitySupervisory ResponsibilitesNoneEDUCATION And EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience with Multi-crafted skills.Working knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools.Ability to read and interpret schematics, gauges and dialsLicensed to operate forklift equipment.Proven steady work history.Language / Speaking SkillsEnglishConstant need (66% to 100% of the time) to verbally communicate with staff and vendors.Mathmatical SkillsBasic math, basic geometry, basic algebra, tolerances, and units of measurement.Computer SkillsBasic computer skills are necessary.Reasoning AbilityHIGH.Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.
