This position will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and adjusting all electrical components within the Facilities department. Assists with mechanical repairs to the machinery or equipment as needed and responsible for maintaining a safety work environment.Primary responsibilities include:Observes all safety rules and always use proper safety equipmentFollows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelinesPerforms electrical troubleshooting utilizing a logical approachTroubleshoots machinery, equipment, and components using electrical schematicsSupports preventative maintenance audits and inspections associated with facility power distribution systemDetermines and executes repairs, adjustments, and overhauls to facilities electrical componentsAssists with shoveling and snow removalAssists facilities maintenance with work ordersShows initiative and work with little, or no supervision at timesPerforms customer work requests as directed by manager / supervisorCompletes work orders and daily tasked to highest qualityAligns and supports fellow departmentsShares knowledge and techniques with team members and assist with training of new personnelNotifies Supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical hazards and take immediate corrective actionAttends all required training provided by the company when applicableMaintains a clean and orderly work areaPerforms other duties as necessary when directed to do soFirst Quality team members must follow all First Quality environmental, health and safety requirements as well as applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulationsThe ideal candidate should possess the following:High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of three years industrial electrical experience.Vocational or technical school or prior industrial electrical experience preferred.What We Offer YouWe believe that by continuously improving the quality of our benefits, we can help to raise the quality of life for our team members and their families.
