Intern - Plant Operations
Duration: Approximately 3 WeeksPosition Summary:PVS Technologies is seeking a short-term Summer Plant Operations Intern to gain exposure to daily operations within an industrial chemical manufacturing facility. This position is intended to provide broad, hands-on learning opportunities across multiple areas of plant operations, including engineering, maintenance, production, administration, and general plant management. The intern will work closely with various plant personnel to develop a better understanding of industrial operations, workplace safety, and manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Assist with general plant projects and day-to-day operational activitiesObserve and support plant maintenance activities as directedReview and organize technical documents, procedures, and drawingsGain exposure to plant production operations and process flowShadow plant leadership personnel across multiple departmentsParticipate in safety discussions and follow all plant safety requirementsAssist with general administrative and organizational tasks as neededLearning Opportunities:The intern will have the opportunity to work with and learn from multiple departments and leadership roles throughout the facility, including:Plant EngineeringMaintenance OperationsProduction Supervision and OperationsPlant AdministrationPlant ManagementQualifications:Interest in engineering, manufacturing, industrial operations, or skilled tradesStrong willingness to learn and ask questionsAbility to work in both office and industrial plant environmentsPositive attitude and professional conductWork Environment:This position will involve both office and field exposure within an operating chemical manufacturing facility.
