Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.What are we looking for?The Laboratory Administrative Assistant will support the Building & Construction Business by performing sample processing and login, supply ordering, billing, customer service, as well as a full range of administrative duties.Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pmSalary & Benefits InformationIndividual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related duties.In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.What you’ll do:Perform sample processing and login utilizing a LIMSReceive calls from clients and provide customer service and/or routing to the appropriate technical staffGreet and assist clients with sample submissions onsiteCreate various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Perform various general office duties including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc. Assisting with end of month billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Invoice paymentsMay assist with developing, updating and/or reviewing local operating procedures and/ or work instructionsMinimum Requirements and Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED2 years+ experience in an Administrative role Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent prioritization, organization, and time management skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting prioritiesAbility to analyze and solve problemsAbility to plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives, and time frameStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to strictly follow SOPsPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:Experience with a LIMSExperience with sample processing1+ years of laboratory experienceBachelor's DegreeExperience and familiarity working with Microsoft Office suiteIntertek: Total Quality.
