CMO (Co-founder)
Hi everyone - my name is Jay!I’m founder building two early-stage consumer products focused on real-world connection and accountability. I’m looking for someone who wants to build this alongside me — closer to a co-founder than a traditional hire. Here are the two products:
Fika — a text-based service that introduces you to someone nearby for a real conversation. We match people, suggest a time and place, and they just show up. No endless chatting.
Moai — a social fitness app built around small groups that keep each other consistent. Think accountability, structure, and community — not just tracking workouts.
Both are live and gaining early traction.
This is an equity-based founding role (no salary initially).
What You’ll Do
You’ll own growth across both products:
Drive user acquisition from 0 → 1 and beyond
Identify and execute on high-leverage distribution channels
Shape positioning, messaging, and brand direction
Run rapid experiments across SMS, social, and local/community channels
Work closely with me on product decisions tied to growth
Figure out what actually works — and double down on it
Who This Is For
You’re not just a marketer — you think like a builder.
You’ve tried to build something before (startup, project, side hustle, etc.)
You care about distribution and behavior, not just campaigns
You’re comfortable operating with very little structure
You move fast, test quickly, and don’t need permission
You’re excited about solving real-world problems: connection and consistency
Who This Is Not For
If you’re looking for a traditional salaried role
If you need clear structure, timelines, and defined scope
If you want to “join a team” rather than help build one
Why This Might Be Interesting
You’ll be working directly with the founder from day one
You’ll have real ownership over growth and direction
You’ll help shape two products tackling massive problems:
loneliness / real-world connection
fitness consistency / accountability
If this works, you’re early — and that matters
