Hours: Sunday - Thursday from 10PM to 6AM About the role: Primary focus is to build quality products by following processes to meet all production goals. Secondary focus is supporting troubleshooting tasks on equipment in associated production area. Work Mode: At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time. Your responsibilities will include: Understands and adheres to safety policies and practices. Responsible for quality and adheres to manufacturing process requirements, the Boston Scientific Corporation Quality Policy and the Strategic Quality Process (SQP). Proactively communicates quality issues and concerns. Demonstrates proficiency in building product and following all processes in which certified (in their most current revision). Also completes other assigned work, while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics. Understands and applies a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and related principles. Understands and applies flex strategy, rotates as necessary and works well with all group members, both within the team and cross-functionally. Maintains accurate records such as Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP), training Records System (TRS), Product Data Management (PDM), Systems Application & Products (SAP) and Process Equipment Optimization (PEO). Actively participates in Shared Responsibility and continuous improvement teams. Understands, follows and promotes all BSC and site-specific policies and procedures. Proficient in the interpretation of quality specifications via SPC; Produce material within tight tolerances and is proficient with the use of various measurement equipment. Takes ownership and accountability to drive metrics by actively participating in Focused Factory cross-functional teams. Proficient mechanical aptitude with the ability to set-up equipment to meet process specifications. Perform equipment trouble shooting methods to maximize equipment runtime. Proficient in planning and preparing the equipment to meet the customers' requirements. Responsible for attending and passing all courses required BSC and site-specific training (i.e. QS Basics, RTK, Lean Training). Required qualifications: 2 years of related experience High School Degree or equivalent combination of education/work experience Preferred qualifications: Experience operating Besi Datacon Pick&Place, Palomar Wire Bonder, Nordson Asymtek, or LPKF Excise machines Experience troubleshooting equipment and utilizing quality control processes to document methods used
