Job DescriptionJob Title: Inventory AssociateLocation: East Peoria, ILPay: $17/hourAre you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable daytime role? We're seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Storeroom Associate to play a vital role in managing inventory, tools, and equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your efforts will ensure our team has the resources they need to succeed, all while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.What You'll Do:Receive, store, and issue inventory, tools, and equipment accuratelyPerform data entry, sorting, labeling, and inventory counts to maintain precise stock recordsInspect tools and equipment for damage or wear, supporting maintenance and replacementAssist with replenishment requests and deliver items to various work locations as neededSupport a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environmentOperate basic warehouse equipment and perform minor tool maintenance (if applicable)Required Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic data entry and inventory management experienceAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materialsGood communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeReliability and punctuality in a daytime shiftNice to Have Skills:Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacksKnowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse settingPrevious experience with inventory software or systemsBasic mechanical skills for minor tool maintenancePreferred Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a warehouse, storeroom, or inventory management roleOther Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periodsMust pass a background check and possibly a drug screeningWillingness to work in a safety-conscious environmentIf you're ready to be a key contributor to a well-organized, efficient operation, we want to hear from you!
