We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to accelerate customer growth and new market expansion through strategic data-driven sales leadership.This full‑time role is based in Lincolnshire, IL (north of Chicago) and transitions to a hybrid schedule after 30 days. KEA offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, STD/LTD, and a 401(k) plan.About the RoleThe Sales Manager drives growth by expanding market presence, strengthening distributor and OEM relationships, and identifying new business opportunities for Kubota engines. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, distributors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment with market trends and corporate objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Competitive Analysis: Research industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activity to support strategic planning and business development.Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify, evaluate, and develop new OEM and distributor opportunities.Strategic Sales Planning: Partner with the New Business Development team to create sales strategies, presentations, and proposals for prospective OEMs.Project Conversion: Advance qualified leads into active projects and coordinate smooth handoff to sales and engineering teams.Customer & Distributor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and distributors, conduct regular visits, and support sales programs, promotions, and technical discussions.Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to execute new business initiatives.Continuous Improvement: Recommend innovative ideas to enhance sales strategies and overall market performance.Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates on market activity, competitive insights, and sales performance.QualificationsStrong OEM/distributor relationship‑building skillsProven negotiation, closing, and presentation abilitiesTechnical understanding of engine applications and specificationsProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAPAbility to travel weekly, including occasional international travelEducation & Experience10+ years of industrial engine or related wholesale sales experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceWork Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice‑based role with regular visits to engine labs, warehouses, and customer sitesExposure to noise, fumes, and mechanical equipment during site visitsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and travel by car and air
