Network Engineer

Job Title**NOTE: You must currently possess a TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearanceRequired Education, Experience, & Skills: Technical SkillsIn-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)Understanding of network architecture, design, and implementationExperience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs)Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)Familiarity with network virtualization and software defined networking (SDN)ExperienceAdept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks.Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment.Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance.In depth knowledge of specific network technologies such as:Routing and switchingNetwork security (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection)Cloud networking e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Software-defined networking (SD)Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersExperience with creating technical documentation, such as design documents, implementation plans and technical notesSkills in network protocolsRouting protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, etc.Switching protocols such as STP, LACP, VTP, etc.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Certifications:CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certificationAdvanced Certifications such as:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) orCCIE Cisco Certified InternetworkJuniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) orJuniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
