Dining Server Associate- Part Time | 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm

Location | Department: Porter Hills Village | Dining Services Shifts: 4:00 pm-8:00 pm Schedule: Approx. 12 hours/ week, Days vary | every other weekend and holiday rotation Overview The Dietary Aide / Server provides exceptional customer service and brightens the day of older adults through positive interactions. What you’ll do Serve meals to residents with a smile and a friendly demeanor Take and ensure accuracy of orders Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions (i.e. ground or pureed diets) Watch tickets and run a tray line Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area What it takes Must be a minimum of 16 years of age Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is helpful, but not required Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds Why Dining Services?
