HiFyve is hiring a Service Technician in the Heavy Equipment industry in Indianapolis, IN!Salary: $32-$37/hourShift: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (hours may vary)Location: Indianapolis, INJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment in shop and field environmentsPerform independent field service repairs with minimal supervisionRepair and replace engines, hydraulic systems, air conditioning, suspension, braking, steering, drive-train, and electrical componentsRead and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsPerform welding, brazing, fabrication, and modification of equipment and components as requiredSource, order, and install replacement parts to complete repairs efficientlyEnsure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and DOT requirementsCommunicate repair findings, causes, and corrective actions to supervisors and customersTravel and work remotely, including overnight stays, as requiredEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)Technical or vocational school training (preferred)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and drive-train systemsProven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on heavy equipmentWelding and fabrication experienceAbility to use electrical and hydraulic testing equipmentKnowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance practicesValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Certification
