The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for assigned work performed in the safety analysis of advanced reactor safety analysis consistent with regulatory requirementsPerform modeling and analysis of thermal hydraulic systems including but not limited to CFD and other standard and non-standard T/H codes. Develop technical documentation and presentations related to these calculations and analysesWork as a cross functional team (i.e. system and component design, testing, manufacturing, or materials) to solve challenging technical problems to progress the advanced reactor designsWork and communicate with technical leads and project managers in coordination of activities associated with assigned work scopeQualificationsBS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent required with a minimum 3.0 GPA5+ years of experience·Experience in thermal hydraulics and applied fluid transport·Must have analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and excellent communication skills including technical writing·Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate a variety of issues: project status, issue resolution, engineering recommendations.Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within an innovative development programWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
