Lead Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in React.js, Java Full Stack Development, and DevOps practices to join our technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and optimization of modern web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full software development lifecycle and a passion for building innovative applications using modern development and DevOps methodologies.Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Java Full Stack technologies.Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and development teams to define and deliver business requirements.Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end technologies.Develop and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java-based frameworks.Implement and support DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and user experience.Conduct code reviews and promote best practices related to coding standards, security, and performance.Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and application architecture.Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance requirements.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software development with Full Stack Java technologies.Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript development.Expertise in Java development, including Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.Experience implementing DevOps practices and working with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Maven, or similar technologies.Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks, UI libraries, and responsive design principles.Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.Knowledge of security best practices for web application development.Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.Relevant certifications in DevOps, React.js, Java, Cloud Technologies, or related disciplines.Experience participating in digital transformation and modernization initiatives.HCL is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
