You will assist with both clinical and administrative tasks, working closely with our medical team to deliver high-quality care.Schedule:Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PMFriday: 9:30 AM - 2:00 PMPosition ResponsibilitiesPatient Preparation Greet patients and prepare them for examination by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and collecting necessary informationClinical Support Assist the physician with procedures, blood draws, and other clinical tasks as needed. Ensure all examination rooms are clean, well-stocked, and organizedDocumentation Accurately record patient information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accessiblePatient Education Provide patients with instructions and educational materials related to their diagnosis, treatment plans, and medicationsAppointment Coordination Schedule follow-up appointments, coordinate with other healthcare providers, and manage patient referralsLaboratory Assistance Perform routine lab tests, prepare specimens for lab analysis, and ensure timely processing of resultsInventory Management Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure the clinic is fully equippedPatient Communication Respond to patient inquiries, follow up on lab results, and communicate with patients regarding their care plan under the supervision of the physicianTeam Collaboration Work closely with the clinic's healthcare providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experienceQualificationsCertification: Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program is preferredExperience: 1-2 years prior experience in a medical office is required. Experience in an endocrinology or specialty clinic is a plusSkills: Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in using EMR systems and basic computer applications.
