We’ve designed fighter jet simulator buildings, space rocket assembly buildings, military operations buildings, sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs) and research laboratories among other highly technical and challenging facilities all over the country.Role DescriptionJohnson-McAdams Firm is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our team on-site in our Greenwood or Collierville offices. This is a full-time role responsible for designing architectural solutions, managing projects from concept through completion, preparing construction documents, and overseeing submittals for compliance with design intent. The Project Architect will also coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, while adhering to timelines and budgets.QualificationsProficiency in Project Management and the ability to manage multiple projects effectivelyKnowledge of preparing and reviewing Submittals for design and construction projectsTeam collaboration and leadership skills to coordinate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in design software such as Revit and AutoCADBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited programLicensed Architect or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframeA strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations;Benefits: Company-paid Health, Dental, Vision, Short-term and Long-term Disability, Life Insurance Package, 401K, Vacation/Holidays; EOE. Possible signing bonus and moving assistance.Compensation: Licensed Architect: $100,000 to $150,000 / Architect Intern: $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience Ideal candidate will have:Architecture LicenseExperience designing new projects and major renovations / additions to facilities and campusesStrong expertise in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM)Experience with Federal Agencies, Department of War, USDA, NASA, USFW and Department of Homeland Security
