Product Costing Consultant

A company is looking for a Product Costing Consultant to lead product costing initiatives and provide strategic insights for financial performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage product costing processes, including standard cost development and variance analysis Support month-end and year-end close activities related to inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) Partner with cross-functional teams to identify cost drivers and develop cost models for business planning Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred 8+ years of experience in product costing or cost accounting Extensive experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP CO (Product Cost Controlling) Strong knowledge of standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis Experience with month-end close processes and inventory valuation
