Lead Carpenter
Job Overview
LaBonte Construction, an established residential construction firm, seeks an experienced full-time lead finish carpenter who understands high-end remodeling. Our remodeling company specializes in kitchen remodeling, bathrooms, additions, and more. A balance between attention to detail, customer service, and efficiency is essential. Duties
- Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction, including layout, framing, and finishing.
- Direct and supervise other carpenters, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality work.
- Perform skilled tasks such as framing, siding, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets our standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with electricians and tradespeople to ensure electrical and other construction project components are correctly installed and connected.
- Perform caulking and other finishing tasks to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Assemble and install various construction project components, including cabinets, shelves, and countertops.
- Use carpentry skills to complete tasks such as building, repairing, and maintaining buildings, furniture, and other structures.
Skills
- Experience UDC and Jobsite Management
- Ability to supervise and train other carpenters.
- Proficiency in indoor hanging, siding installation, and fixture installation.
- Experience with electrical work and the ability to work with electricians.
- Experience with caulking and other finishing tasks.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
- Ability to assemble and install various components of a construction project.
- Experience with prints and shop drawings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record.
