You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter who's looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!Responsibilities:* Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques * Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed * Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects * Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary * Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties * Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks * Inspect paint jobs for quality * Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipmentQualifications:* Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
