The team supports complex transformations spanning financial planning, profitability analytics, operating model redesign, and data-enabled performance management, often in the context of growth, integration, or large-scale change initiatives.Your ImpactThis role is designed for a seasoned finance transformation leader who understands how financial performance is created, measured, and managed within complex financial services organizations. You will work closely with executive stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable financial and operating models, ensuring insight, accountability, and sustainable value creation.Key responsibilities include:Financial Planning, Performance & ProfitabilityLead FP&A and corporate planning initiatives, including stress testing and capital planning, long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling tailored to insurance and/or banking businessesDevelop and oversee product, customer, and business-line profitability analysis, including margin drivers, pricing impacts, and capital considerationsDrive transparency into corporate overhead and shared services costs, ensuring expenses are appropriately allocated to the right products, functions, and business linesSupport executive decision-making through clear, insight-driven financial narratives and dashboardsData, Integration & Performance EnablementPartner with finance, technology, and data teams to improve data mapping, integrations, and financial data flows across source systemsTranslate business and finance requirements into scalable performance management and business solutionsEnsure consistency of definitions, metrics, and hierarchies across planning, reporting, and analyticsSupport post-merger or transformation environments where financial integration and performance alignment are criticalTarget Operating Model (TOM) LeadershipLead or support Target Operating Model design and implementation for finance and performance management functionsAssess current-state capabilities across people, process, technology, governance, and dataDefine future-state operating models aligned to strategy, scale, and regulatory expectationsDrive execution through detailed roadmaps, change management, and stakeholder engagementLeadership & Client / Stakeholder EngagementServe as a trusted advisor to senior executives and finance leadership, including CFO organizationsFacilitate executive and working sessions, translating complex topics into clear, actionable outcomesLead and mentor project teams, providing coaching, quality oversight, and performance feedbackContribute to business development through solution design, proposal development, and thought leadershipYour ExperienceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline10+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, corporate planning, or finance transformation with at least 2 years of client-facing experience in a professional services organizationDeep industry experience in Insurance and/or Banking, with a strong understanding of industry economics, products, and regulatory environmentsDemonstrated expertise in:FP&A and enterprise planningProduct and business-line profitabilityExpense management and cost allocationPerformance management frameworks and KPIsHands-on experience supporting or leading Target Operating Model transformationsStrong ability to bridge business, finance, and data/technology teamsPreferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degree in a relevant fieldExperience in professional services or internal transformation roles within large financial institutionsFamiliarity with FP&A, EPM, or performance management platformsProven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiativesStrong executive presence with excellent communication and storytelling skillsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
