Full Stack Node.js Developer

A Little About the BusinessI started One-n-Done Web Solutions about a year ago with the goal of building quality, custom websites for local businesses. The response from my community has been really positive, and it’s shown me how much need there is for dependable web support.I don’t just see this as building websites—I see it as being a reliable resource that businesses in my community can count on. That focus on service and relationships is what’s helped me grow quickly, and now I’m expanding into two new states. I’m looking for a developer who shares those values and wants to be part of this journey. The JobYou’ll be working with me to build and maintain websites for new clients as they come on board. I’ll provide mockups and client details, and your role will be to bring those sites to life and keep them running smoothly.Your responsibilities will include:Developing sites in Node.js/Express with Pug templates.Setting up portals in Directus when clients need back-end access.Performing regular “health checks” to catch errors before clients do.Occasionally talking directly with clients to solve issues and build trust.I’ll set up a cloud server environment for you to work from and for hosting. Once a project is assigned, it’s your responsibility—and your opportunity to make a lasting impression.Skills I’m Looking ForComfortable with:JavaScriptNode.js / ExpressHTML / CSSLinux command line (SSH)Bonus points if you know:DNS, NGINX, CertbotWordPress (for clients with existing sites)Client communication and supportPayThis is a commission-based role. You’ll get a set percentage of what the client pays each month, for as long as their contract is active.Think of this less as a one-time project and more as a long-term partnership—your income grows alongside the business. You’re a Good Fit If:You want to start small but grow into something bigger. You like the idea of being part of a business from the ground up.You value community, reliability, and client service as much as the technical side. You’re professional, respectful, and communicate well.TimelineI expect new client projects to begin between mid-September and late October. If you’re on board before then, you’ll have the chance to be involved in shaping how this expansion is set up.How To ApplyYou can apply through LinkedIn, but sending me an email directly at jobs@onendoneweb.com will give your application priority. In your email, please share your thoughts on joining a growing business and working on a commission basis. Be sure to include your resume/portfolio and any Node.js projects you’d like to highlight.
