Instructor/Trainer – Pastry and Bakery
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Teach hands-on pastry and bakery courses: including recipe development, ingredient sourcing, preparation, baking demonstrations, and student practice sessions Monitor and evaluate student performance and learning outcomes Participate in academic activities such as research, academic writing, and curriculum development Contribute to the preservation and innovation of baking arts and engage in continuous professional development Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisorQualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Bakery, or a related field Strong knowledge and practical skills in pastry and bakery techniques 3 – 5 years’ Experience working in professional pastry kitchens, bakeries Understanding of kitchen and production operations and management Interest and potential in conducting research related to baking and pastry arts Prior teaching experience in pastry and bakery is a plus (especially bread)
