Mechanical Design Intern

Job DescriptionIron Mechanical is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Intern to work with our Pre-construction department in Sacramento! This position is part-time and requires 16-24 hours per week, with preferred availability on Mondays.Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Update Revit and CAD backgroundsExport Revit models to Navis modelsCreate PDFs from CAD and Revit modelsOrganize, highlight, and follow up on weekly tasksAssist in updating ventilation calculationsAssist in updating equipment schedulesQualifications:Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and problem solverExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to collaborate with othersFlexibility to adapt and learn quicklyProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Basic knowledge/and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navis, and Bluebeam is preferred, but not requiredIron Mechanical offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, 401K benefits, company-paid life insurance, paid time off and sick leave.
