What You’ll Do: Design, write, and optimize codes for laser machines to cut metals. Translate engineering drawings to precise machine instructions, managing material flow, troubleshooting – ensuring efficient production. Daily Tasks: Setting up and operating laser cutting machines to cut various materials based on blueprint specifications. Loading and unloading metal sheets and parts, ensuring proper alignment/position for cutting. Inspecting finished parts accuracy, ensuring they meet requirements and quality standards. Perform dimensional checks and visual inspections Diagnose and resolve programming or machine issues to maintain smooth operation. Work with engineers, machinists, and production staff to resolve technical challenges. Monitor machine performance and report maintenance needs. What You Bring: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, understand CNC programming. Understanding of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality. Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to work in a safe environment.
