Shift SupervisorAs the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overall daily manufacturing supervision with focus on safety, environmental and financial goals that meet internal and external customer needs reliably. What will I get to do in this position?Ensure ESH Compliance: Promote safety first culture that fosters an injury free work placePromote procedure compliance to ensure site environmental, safety and health standards are metLead ES&H incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completedEngage employees in daily ES&H discussionsClarify housekeeping requirementsPerform job safely, in an environmentally sound manner and in accordance with all requirementsDepartmental Operations: Assist Manager in defining, developing, communicating and implementing area-specific objectivesFoster an open line of communication with production planning and shipping to ensure customer demands are metFoster innovative thinking within the assigned area(s)Communicate business goals, objectives and desired outcomesEstablish, communicate and enforce acceptable standards of performance and behavior within the teamReconcile conflicts within the teamSupervisors are accountable for ensuring all assigned employees receive appropriate on-the-job training and achieve required proficiency levels.Manufacturing: Ensure team members have daily work assignments and schedulesWork with area planner, and operations support lead to schedule support on material flowPromptly and effectively resolve process or mechanical variations/deviationsEnsure communication between maintenance and production teams is timely and effectiveInterface with others to ensure continuity and optimization of material flowMeet budgeted volume and quality commitmentsEffectively interface with manufacturing engineers support to increase operational efficienciesEnsure Cost Management: Meet budget commitments regarding spending and overtimeDepartment Development: Provide performance expectations and feedback to all employeesProactively address substandard performanceEnsure team is staffed with qualified members capable of performing their duties safely and efficientlyEnsure team members are accountable for executing their respective roles and responsibilities as defined by standards of performance and performance metricsActively listen to people, put them at ease and build rapport, trust and respectAttend all requisite training sessions and support training initiatives in Business UnitWhat skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?High School Diploma or GED requiredManufacturing process knowledge and/or experienceStrong mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal skillsInterest in and commitment to teamwork and team based systemsDemonstrated leadership skillsDemonstrated computer literacy with business applicationsWhat will set me apart?2+ years of supervisory experience in a production or operations environmentCompensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
