Project Manager

Responsibilities:Supervised by Senior Project ManagerOversees Field Personnel & SubcontractorsEnsure quality and cost-effective installation of the HVAC systemSet up job schedulePrepare submittals and shop drawingsPrepare material lists for shop fabrication and order miscellaneous materials for HVAC system installationHandle purchasing of bought items (assisted by Vice President)Complete purchase orders and subcontracts; file in pending submittal book until approvalBrief foreman on project details; communicate daily on job progress and needsCommunicate weekly on individual performance of field personnelVisit job sites on a weekly basisSupervise Safety / HAZCOM programs and quality controlAttend project meetings as requiredMaintain plan files and cut listsHandle correspondence with general contractor and pricing for required change ordersManage job close-out including: Operation and maintenance manualsAs-built drawingsTest & balance reportsQualifications:Minimum of 5 years experience in the tradeHigh school education or equivalentIn-depth knowledge of ductwork, air distribution, and equipment installationAbility to work independently without supervisionGood written and verbal communication skillsMinimum of 1 year of drafting and estimating experienceWork Environment:Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and laddersWalking and lifting 20 lbs or more required in daily performance of jobUse of upper extremities required for: Forward and overhead reachingPushing, pulling, and material handlingrecblid y4wxz8tfmtnhbmfercvs36ser9td7v
