Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 5-Axis CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in 5-Axis CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality output while adhering to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing directly to the production of top-tier products. Duties: Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines Work with management to identify new equipment to fill out machining capacities, including lasers, cnc press breaks, lathes, etc. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate manufacturing specifications are met. Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and adherence to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Maintain machine calibration, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Maintain a safe working environment, following company policies. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and supporting fabrication processes as needed. Requirements: Proven experience operating 5-Axis CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, and related equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, Solidworks and SolidCAM a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files accurately. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in tooling setup. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other quality control tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for machining tasks. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Skills: CNC programming: 3 years (Preferred) Experience with Fanuc controls or similar PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems is highly desirable but not required.
