They are seeking someone that has an 'exploratory relationship' with and a proactive engagement with using Ai that is actively 'pushing the boundaries' of what the technology can do for them. Other Ai tools may include the following: Cursor, Amazon Q, Qodo, GitGuardian, Snyk, Codex, JetBrains, DeepCode, Tabnine, CodiumAi, or SonarQube.Be prepared to show a GitHub explanation of an unconventional or 'out of the box' route you took inorder to utilize an Ai-enabled development tool to better complete a task or provide a better solution.MUST HAVE Technical degree is required along with 7+ years of Java and J2EE development experience.STRONG preference for JAVA Engineers working on real-time mission-critical FINANCIAL SERVICES and investment trading platforms. This job will be serving Financial Services/Investment Banking/Stock Trading so familiarity with terms like (IBOR) Investment Book of Record, stock trading compliance, OTC investment workflows, DevSecOps in SDLC, investment portfolio management tracking, and integrated analytics, would be a big plus.Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and high-performance systems.Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs.Experience with WebSockets, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines (especially using Jenkins) .Strong analysis, design, and modeling skills, and familiarity with Testing methodologies like Apache JMeter are a plus.MUST BE a great communicator with ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting a business-critical production environment.Must work onsite 5 days a week in Boston, MA.For US-based candidates with the right skillset, we are able to transfer sponsorship of existing VISAs.Tech Stack: Java, J2EE, Node.JS, Python, TypeScript, Spring Boot, AWS, Azure, WebSockets, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, JMeter, MySQL, IDEs (VS Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse), JUnit Tests, JIRA, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot.
